1.) When we first arrived, we were greeted by a woman talking on the phone. Instead of excusing herself for a minute, to finish up the call, she proceeded to "try" and check us in. She obviously had a difficult time trying to do two things at once. She finished her call and then told us that she was on a very important call from New York. Who cares!!? Then we started the check-in all over.
2.) We were awaken at 2:15 am by someone "pounding" on our hotel room door. I was sound asleep, so it obviously startled me. By the time I got up, the person was walking away. This happened again at 5:00 am and again at 7:30 am. That morning, I realized it was the family next door that was disturbing us. People mess up, we are not perfect. I can forgive that.
3.)When checking out, I informed the owner of the situation, so that he might be able to address it with the guests in question when they check-out. He raised his voice with me, was very unprofessional, did not apologize and obviously lacking in customer service skills. He said that I should have called the front desk immediately and implied that it was my own fault that I did not do so and also implied that I was "predjudice." Not once in my conversation did I mention color, race or religion! He completely missed my point. I asked that he would wait until after I left, before approaching the other guest. So, what's he do? ... approaches them right then and there! What an idiot.
