The staff knew nothing about the area around the hotel. We wanted to find an inexpensive restaurant late in the evening, and they tried to direct us to a 7-11 store instead! It took a long walk when we were tired from our trip and asking a local resident to find an inexpensive restaurant that was open 24 hours a day, only 1 1/2 blocks from our hotel! It was not the last time such a lack of knowledge about their own town caused us a long walk we didn't need to take, either. The brochures in the room about local attractions/restaurants were woefully out of date, too.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Travelodge Convention Center.
I would not recommend it to friends.
