Horrible
The people were friendly and helpful. But the overall appearance of the hotel was very GHETTO. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is old and smells bad. The security was one of my main issues. The outside door was suppose to be locked...

Comfortable room with many restaurants close by.The stairwell smelled bad. Comfortable linens, very clean hotel with many restaurants within walking distance.

There was little to no hot water for baths. When housekeeping cleaned the room, they only took dirty towels and didn't leave clean ones. When I called about this, the staff said they had no more in the hotel.

This is a value lodging with easy access to downtown Columbia and a number of attractions. The problem with my room was promptly dealt with. I will stay here when I am next in Columbia.

The front desk staff was friendly and very efficient when I requested an additional pillow. It was very clean and we had a comfortable stay there. They even offered a free breakfast at the Cracker Barrel restaurant next door, but it was more like a continental breakfast that could have just been served at the hotel for that matter. But, overall, it was good value for the money and it had friendly employees.
After checking us in, they greeted us by name as we were going to our room.

to return to the Travelodge Columbia West.
