Travelodge Central San Francisco Motel

My advice, pay the extra money and stay somewhere else! Unless you like dirty, small, an even smaller breakfast, people that can barely speak english and don't care about your concerns and people skateboarding up and down the walks by your room. If none of this bothers you, than by all means, book the room, oh and have fun trying to find a parking spot that you are paying for.

I stayed this hotel on November 2007 with my boyfriend who was visiting me in California. The location was fine and easy to access anywhere in SF. We saw quite a few homeless people on Market street but did not feel any danger since it is on the big busy street. There were painting coming off, the hairdryer worked for 10 seconds and died, and some mold invading the new bathroom. But still, they had all what we needed- bed, bathroom, towels, coffee, and cheap price, so I was going to give them a more than 5 for rating until I found two bug bites on my face next day.

The location is great! Parking is available at ten dollars extra. It is near buses and the subway. If you are from New York like me, accustomed to long walks, there are great restaurants from the Castro to Chinatown. It is an average motel, expensive considering there are no amenities. This property is all about the location.

This hotel made me feel practical: The total costs were lower than they would be at the more upscale hotels. The room was as expected, not great, but I do not expect great from the Travelodge hotel. Coffee, juice and packaged pastry were provided free in the morning.

The location is fairly convenient, the rooms are comfortable, and check-in was easy. The carpets could have been a little cleaner but there were no serious issues with the room.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The room and bathroom were clean and well stocked, and I appreciated having the refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was actually nicer than I expected.

The hotel is in an excellent location for a decent price. The Castro and Haight Ashbury are within walking distance.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: It was quiet and comfortable. Although there was no air conditioning, we were visiting in October so the weather was fine. They had a fan installed that we turned on and that was fine.
