The location of the Travelodge is pretty good. Its really close to town and the beautiful lake.
The room we had wasn't so great. The window looked out onto the external walkway and we had to have the curtains permanently closed to maintain an element of privacy.
Mornings were very noisy. There seemed to be a hot water system close to our room and whenever the water was switched on in any of the adjacent and upstairs rooms the noise was unbelievable. The walls were very thin and we could hear the conversations of surrounding guests.
Some of the reception staff were quite unfriendly.
Breakfast was a strange affair. We had to eat and drink from polystyrene cups and plates and had to prepare our own food from the paltry selection on offer.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel and I certainly wouldn't go back.

Directly across from city park with kids' waterpark, playground and great beach access for swimming in the lake. Small but nice clean pool. Parking is tight, but free.
