Traveler's Motel Douglas Motel - Page 1

I phoned on Wednesday and made reservations for a 3 night stay. The lady said we will have a ground floor no-smoking ready for you on your arrival. I told her it would probably 6-8 pm when I got there and asked if I could hold the room using my credit card. She said that wasn't necessry, she would make note that I had reserved the room 2/6/08. Guess what. I get there and am told SORRY WE ARE FULL, NO ROOMS. I explained that I had a reservation but all he could say was SORRY. After exchanging some words and greetings with the fella I went across the street to the BORDER MOTEL, never again The Border is over, priced 50 bucks per night, unfriendly and crappy. Stayed the next 2 nights at Motel 6, I wish I had gone there from the start but Travler has wireless internet.

We stay here every weekend and have never had a problem. The staff is excellent and their rooms are clean.

The rooms have a microwave, a fridge, and nice-sized bathtubs. There is even a computer to use. We won't stay anywhere else.
