Okay
Continental breakfast and location to beach access.Lumpy mattress needed replacing and toilet paper rough! For a basic room it was clean and convenient. The bed was uncomfortable because the mattress was old and saggy, otherwise it was sufficient.

Good location. That is all.The room was a dump. The shower had mold. The bed was hard as a rock and I woke up with a backache. We left early just to get out of there. I felt unsafe. And it smelled. I would never stay there again.

29 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
This place is now called the Travel Inn and the couple who runs it are very rude and unprofessional. The woman there became unnecessarily angry with me after I rang the night bell for service after waiting approximately ten minutes at the front desk to check in and had not received any assistance. I had assumed that they were off duty for the evening. When she finally came to the front desk, she proceeded to make rude comments and literally throw the registration form, pen, and room keys at me. When I said something to her about her rude behavior she started to scream at me and stormed out of the room, slamming the door. Then her husband came in screaming at the top of his lungs at me telling me that he refused service to us and we had to leave. When I asked him for a refund, he refused and practically pushed me out the door. He literally chased me out of the office and charged at my boyfriend and me after I told him that I was going to call the police if he did not refund our money. He still demanded that we leave without a refund. When he realized I was on the phone with the police department he charged at us again and continued yelling at us in the middle of the parking lot telling us to just go to our room. However, we obviously were not going to stay in a place where we felt uncomfortable and unsafe around such erratic and hostile behavior. After about ten minutes we decided to go back and try to calmly discuss a refund. Once again the man refused and began personally insulting us, so we left without our refund. I have traveled all over the world and have stayed in many establishments but I have never encountered such rude and inhospitable people. I was fearful for my safety and I definitely would not recommend that anyone stay there! Places that treat their guests this way, especially over something as insignificant as ringing a bell do not deserve anyone's business. Stay somewhere else. There are many other inexpensive accommodations available in Tahoe. All we had to do was drive down the street to find friendly service and an inexpensive room.
