Right on the beach with nice rooms and nice location. The front desk made us wait for over 3 hours for a room, while at least 10 other people got rooms in front of us. We had a "wait" on our paperwork!“The hotel is right on the beach and very nice....
48 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The resort itself was beautiful and clean enough. Our issue was with the noise factor and the 2 beach bars right next door. They played music from 2p through 1a. It was like trying to sleep in a college dorm. There was constant drumming, base notes and screaming. There were also times on the beach where I could not hear the water due to the live music. It was not at all tranquil, as advertised. If you go, make sure your room is on the Tradewinds side of the resort, the noise didn't seem to be as much of a factor on that side. Management acknowledged the noise issue and state they get constant complaints about. It was not all worth the small fortune we paid to be there. Also, with $25/day resort ammenities fee, I thought they had gall to charge me $2 to print our boarding passes for our return trip home. Talk about nickel and diming.
