TRADEWINDS RESORT
Never book through Hotwire there is no way this is a 4 star hotel as they clam. Very disappointed. Water pressure in bathroom lousy. Hot water out of cold water valve in bathroom, difficult to shave. I had to call my wife to have her feel the water. I have never heard of such a thing. Security is lousy and rude. Apparently arrested a drunk on my floor who was running down the hall and banging on walls, room 4627 and I spoke, confirming what had happened. Restaurant the Bermuda expensive and not much better than frozen food from the supermarket. The fruit was rotted and smelled badly. We had breakfast the next day at the Don Cesar it was perfect. Room air conditioner rattled all night. Shower in next room would actually wake me up with a roaring sound. And I'm a sound sleeper. Parking is terrible if you leave the hotel you'll be searching for a spot for some time when you return. DON'T LEAVE. Parking spots are tiny. Most SUV owners like myself had to let passengers out first before squeezing into the spot. Pools are crowded and small. Water has odor. Yes there is a covered pool it’s a kiddy splash pool that's all. Apparently anyone can wonder in off the beach and use the pools, towels etc, security is scarce this is not fair to paying customers. I’m not even sure if the person arrested was a guest of the hotels, for all I know he could have walked in off the street.
I will make a complaint to the BBB however this is a long and lengthy annoying process, if you ever had the pleasure of dealing with the BBB then you would understand. I asked for a late check out for the inconveniences and was told no late check outs. I explained the night before and was told a manager would be contacted. Never heard back from anyone. DO NOT LET YOURSELF BELIEVE THIS IS A 4 STAR HOTEL IT IS NOT. THE DON CESAR WAS AWSOME SEVERAL YEARS AGO. not a single complaint. That's a true 4 star.

We arrived early to the hotel (earlier than expected) and we were greeted with a smiling face and "your room is ready". How fantastic is that! The room was clean and having the refrigerator and microwave was very nice. We did not have an ocean...

Please take my advise & that of many others & don't stay at this hotel!!
To call it a 4 star is an absolute disgrace. The rooms are dirty & claustrophobic & infested with cockroaches which crawl over you during the night...
This is the worst place I have ever stayed. Awful service, dirty/gross rooms, roaches, remotes don't work right, staff is no help, lots of problems with a/c, etc. This hotel needs a major upgrade to be called a resort. Only nice thing is the...
