I frequently come to Rochester for work. The family ownership and the fact that it is cleaner then most big box hotels makes it a great place to stay.

this is the perfect place to stay. everywhere we went the prices were outrageous over $100 the we saw the Towpath Motel. when we stopped in the motel managers we so friendly and or stay was perfecly priced. i would recommend this to my friends, family, and anyone who reads this. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. next time i visit ill head straight to the towpath and skip over all those chains.

The room we stayed in was adorable! It was very clean and the staff were all very nice. One of the things I liked best about the room was the home-like atmosphere it provided. It felt more like sleeping in a guest room at someone's house than a hotel room. I would stay there again for sure!

Their site advertises one of the very best rates in all of Rochester. $40 with a 10% discount for AAA membership which I have, so I went there fully expecting to pay $35 plus tax.

What I ended up paying was $50 and even then both parties were disgruntled because they were charging $60 a night otherwise. The $40 rate doesn’t exist! Their lowest ever rate that they gave me was $50.

If you have a problem with this place don’t try to contact the owner, he lives in India and has absolutely no contact info available. The managers are completely helpless dealing with problems.

They didn’t seem interested in the fact that they were advertising their place for $20 below reality. Don’t go here unless you’re aware of the real price!

My husband and I stay here frequently, and each time is a pleasure. The rooms are clean, they have enough amenities for us and the free wi-fi is great for my kids. The staff is also very nice and they treat us like family each year.
