After spending numerous hours looking for a condo for our Beaver Creek spring break trip, I chose Townsend Place.

We booked through Beaver Creek Central Reservations and were told it was a "Gold" rated property. Upon our arrival, we were given keys to room 201. (My friend was given 305.) Upon entering, the furnishings were obviously dated and worn. Most apparent was the dirty kitchen. Grease splatters on the stove and microwave, old petrified dried up food in the sink strainer and dirty old area rugs, were a complete turn off. Also, I was under the impression that all of the units had two levels. This one did not. I called the reception center and they were able to move us to room 301 the next day.

This unit was two levels and very spacious. The furnishings were a little better but I found the overall cleanliness, especially in the kitchen, to be lacking. The blinds in the master bedroom had rusty water stains all over them, as did some of the decorative toss pillows on the bed. The extra blankets in the closet looked old and not very clean and the master bath shower leaked all over the floor. The area rugs were also very dirty and worn. Our friends had unit 305 and it was decorated very nicely. They had granite counters, leather couches and updated bathrooms. We had a very good rate of $179 per night. I guess you really do get what you pay for, with the exception of unit 305.

It is a great place to stay, right on the mountain, with nice facilities.

It was all very nice including the restaurant. We stayed three nights while there for my sons wedding.

They were very nice and were responsive to our every request. The view was beautiful. It was located in a central location for shopping and sightseeing.
