TownePlace Suites by Marriott Redwood City Hotel

I stayed here as a test run for a long-term stay. I really liked this property and would have stayed here if it had been more convenient to my work location.

This is near Oracle and Electronic Arts. It is on the Bay facing the San Carlos Airport (a tiny airport). It is about a 1/2 a mile from a shopping center with a grocery store, Bank of America, Starbucks, spa, GNC, pizza place, asian restaurant, etc. It's convenient to 101 as well.

The rooms are very nice, but not stellar. The beds are comfortable, but it is an extended stay property with limited amenities. There is no hot breakfast, just continental. The mini-mart is limited. There is a stove, sofa, etc, and a good selection of TV channels. It's pretty standard Towneplace Suites, but with a good staff.

However, for what it is, it is an award winning property. The sales manager is particularly nice and I would definitely stay again. I know their rates have recently gone through the roof because they are very popular.

We had a family meeting and it was handled very well at a favorable price.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: They understood our family needs. They gave us a good room and maid service.

They're great. Hopefully the price can stay at a good value.

This hotel made me feel excited: It had a small kitchen and the room was larger than most hotel rooms.

It was an excellent service as usual (this was a return visit).

This hotel made me feel practical: The setup of the kitchen is easy to use, as are the tv movies.
