TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dearborn

My experience at this property exceeded my expectations from the very beginning to the end of my stay. There were many things that contributed to my peace of mind: the reasonable rate, good location, security guard in the parking lot, full kitchenette along with utensils and dishes, apparantly clean room, comforter on the bed which is sandwiched between 2 sheets, a helpful list of restaurants and other attractions in the area in the room-even cfl light bulbs. There are also extra pillows and a blanket in the closet. Whoever is in charge has really given some thought to travelers' needs. Other companies could learn from this model hotel.

It was a nice place, everything as expected, no problems at all.

It was very nice, actually. The only problem was a telephone and alarm clock that woke us up at six o'clock in the morning when we did not ask for it, but that was not a big deal.

The gym should be better equipped, and better maintained, much of the equipment was broken. The furniture in the rooms should be cleaned, and should not be sprayed with whatever that pink spray is that they use.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The friendliness of the staff.
