Tomahawk Motel Motel - Page 1

We stayed at this hotel on September 1, 2007 for a family reunion. I should have known that we were in trouble when one of the amenities in the room was a fly swatter. This hotel really needs a makeover. The sheets had holes in them and the room looked dirty. I would never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone.

At one point in time I thought that this hotel was a nice cozy place until I stayed there. The bed sheets were soiled with something, the tub and sink look as if they were not cleaned properly. There was body hair in the tub and bathroom sink, and dust everywhere. The people on duty at the time seem to not care when I complain to them. We left and went to the Ahoskie Inn, and that was one of the best things I felt I could have ever done.

It is a typical small town hotel. The staff is friendly, but connecting via phone to the office from the rooms is close to impossible. The cost increases during the annual Pow Wow are expected. But you get no additional benefits for that increase, also expected. It’s "The only horse in town".
