The best thing about this hotel is it's location and value. Rodeo Drive is just a 5 minute walk away and you can get to all the main sights in LA easily. The hotel is relatively small but the staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to check in early. Our advice is to take full advantage of of the rooftop pool and patio which really is beautiful. In all honesty, you will find it hard to find a better value hotel in LA considering the location and the price.

True, the hotel is under renovation and the pool, exercise room and restaurant are all closed. But I'm not sure why the room had no hair dryer, no hair conditioner (I put hand lotion on my hair by mistake), no extra blanket, the pad of paper looked like a dollar tree tablet had been chopped into four sections and the pen had teeth marks in it.
The room smelled smoky. There was no ice unless ordered and it wasn't brought the first night when requested. I didn't see a magazine in the lobby, nor a newspaper or an apple. I would not stay there again.
