The Westshore Hotel Hotel - Page 1

First time in my life that I feared for my life staying in a hotel. At 2:30AM a loud party started in the central court yard of the hotel right outside our door. A large group of thugs were drinking, screaming, breaking bottles, etc. We waited an hour and then decided to call the front desk. After five calls to office they finally answered and said they would send security. Forty five minutes later, the party was worse. After another bunch of unanswered calls to the front desk they finally answered. When questioned about the lack of response, the punk at the front desk said that he had already been up there, it was the baseball team (?) and that since check out began at 4:30AM they had the right to be out there. Upon further questioning, he hung up on me. Finally, at about 6:45AM the party broke up. The place should be closed down.

Good value hotel for the price. I have to agree about the lobby it was beautiful. Room was clean but carpets need to be changed. The Front desk staff was very pleasent and heplfull. I would stay at this location again. You can hear the flights taking off from airport, but I was able to sleep fine. Location was excellant to all of downtown Tampa and UT.

This place was dirty, old, with poor quality beds and shower and noisy.
