Typical Westin property. Very well appointed, tasteful and magnificent. Lovely rooms and restaurants, self-contained property with a helpful, attentive staff.
It was a pleasant stay overall. The room was relatively large with all the amenities of a nicer hotel, and the pillow-top bed was the best I've slept in.
Bathroom was large and very clean, and we had a spectacular view from the 12trh...

Clean Room. Excellent Location. Pool was not heated so was of no use to anyone. Grout had slight mildew going on in shower. We stayed 5 nights and they only changed sheets if you request. Nickled & dimed you for everything after charging premium rates for the room. $4 bottles of water in room to use to make coffee. No coffee pot just 2 individual coffee packs. Blow dryer, in room safe, and robes were all missing from room so we had to request those be brought up. Fire detector above bed blinked bright like a lighthouse all night , and the lights on the telephone blinked bright red all night ..no one knew how to fix them so we put the phones in the desk drawers. Also the light from the mini bar shined like a cheap hotel sign all night long. Parking garage at hotel charged $10 day but hotel guest paid $12 a day "just because". Wi-Fi was $10 day plus taxes and fees. Overall the room was clean and felt safe that is the best I can say. The restaurant was overpriced and even had "Market price" on the steaks?? Never seen that on steak before...just seafood. Front desk seemed to all be training themselves. Both escalators were down for repair. They have 3 elevators that are really scary to use. One broke down during our stay so they left the door open on it and turned the lights off in it...it really looked tacky. The whole place is not like any WESTIN quality that you would expect. So dont get prepared for a luxury stay. Oh yeah the "heavenly bed was not so heavenly...Just a normal mattress with about 7 pillows and 2 comforters on the bed (Florida). You will probably be safe and you will be in a good location but that is about all I can say.
