Nice hotel-very tranquil/spa like feel to it overall. The hotel is one of the first hotels that you come accross from the airport. Because of the location, you will have to travel a bit if you want to be in the busy nightlife and "wild" areas of cancun. A very short local bus or cab ride will take you there. The bus stop is right outside of the front lobby area (Just hold on when you get on the bus and tell the driver where you would like to get off!). The hotel was perfect for my husband and I because we wanted to relax. The hotel is right on the beach and there are various swimming pools. The only thing that was a bit of a dissapointment was the humidity in th room. However, I quickly learned that keeping th AC on would offset the humidity. OH! also if you buy a phone card at the hotel shop-make sure that you purchase the one that does not charge you a connection fee from your room!! I realized at checkout that I had to pay $35 dollars in connection fees alone! I was not happy about that. Overall good experience.

This is the first resort coming from the airport. The resort is very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The pools and restaurants were very nice.

The spa was good. It was large and well staffed

I would recommend this resort.

After the Wilma hurricane, the hotel has been up graded. All the public areas and rooms look modern and new. There is a huge beach, 5 pools, and lagoon side rest areas. The hotel is at the beginning of the hotel zone, so this is a quiet place perfect for relaxing. If you want to go to the malls, restaurants, etc, there is a bus station just in front the hotel.

I couldn't believe this place is actually a Westin hotel. The carpet looked dingy and the towels were rough like something a Motel 6 would have.

The food was horrible all around at even the "fine dining" establishments in the hotel. The one thing with a redeeming quality was that it was on a great beach. I definitely miss the clean white sand and clear water there.
