thedogatemyhomework icon Hard sell for time shares

51 year old woman with a luxury budget, traveling for business

There were no rooms available in the main hotel so we were assigned to the time share annex. I cannot recommend this to anyone.

The decor was of a cheesy, rental variety with no charm. It is a long, confusing walk to the anchor hotel for meals and the bar and room service came in a paper bag.

The main focus of the reception area of the building we stayed in is a huge time share desk and the pressure to 'take a quick tour in exchange for free spa time' was intense. We also were subjected to a hard sell at the main hotel. There are many more choices in the area for accommodation--I'd choose another resort over this one any day.

35 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for business

The resort was wonderful. The staff was very nice. The rooms were great. The pool was awesome(the lazy river was the best). Great place for business or pleasure. The golf course was also very good. With all the traveling that I do, it is nice to visit a place that does it right. Keep up the good work Westin!

It is a nice touch to get a cold bottle of water from the valet. A nice, easy walk to the Kierland Commons for dinner and shopping. I did not get a chance to check out the spa but I am sure it would have been nice.
