Location is very nice. You need an ocean view room, otherwise you are stuck looking at the parking lot. Rooms are nice. The washer/dryer is a plus. The food is lacking. The service is slow and the wait staff seems put out to help or even refill a drink. Overall the staff can not answer questions without putting you on hold for 10 min. or finding other staff to help (this can take up to 30 min). The cabanas are reserved months in advance...so book early. Be prepared to get up at the crack of dawn to get a place under an umbrella. If you are planning to use the kitchen. The South villas have ovens, the North side has a convection/microwave (hard to cook in). The beach is excellent to snorkel. My three kids (6,7, & 9) said the KIDS CLUB was boring and did not ever want to go back. It was fun for our family with 3 kids...but we are going to try a new place next year. We have stayed here 2 times (South and our last time the North side)...they can't seem to get their act together. They now have a shuttle to take you to the other Starwood hotels and Lahina.

The location is very convenient and the facility is beautiful and well maintained. We visit the property every year and we plan to visit next year as well. The service is outstanding and it makes the stay very enjoyable.
The surroundings are lovely and well maintained. Staying on the beach is very enjoyable.

It has a great deal of trouble keeping staff that understand the needs for those with disability. They also change staff too often to maintain knowledge, they do not seem to communicate up or down the line.

The staff was most accommodating to our requests for information, reservations, and the quality of restaurants on the island. The resort apartment, one bedroom, was well appointed, including a Jacuzzi. We certainly want to return there.
The king size bed, the furniture, and the entertainment features such as the two flat panel TVs, made the living premises luxurious. The landscaping was beautiful.
