This is a nice hotel and the location is good. The rooms were a little beat up. All in all, it was a good stay but the hotel is a little boring. The valet guys and bell staff was very nice and helpful. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is good but is just lacks a little atmosphere.

I like the location and the convenience it offers to major attractions.

I enjoyed my entire experience and I had no complaints.

The hotel rooms were in need of updating. The shower leaked into the room causing mold in the bedroom. I had to move three times because of the room problems. The bedding was not as expected. My advice is to avoid staying at this Westin hotel.

This was a nice hotel, but we were not informed until after checking into our room that there was a scheduled water and air conditioning outage that was to last the entire night. However, the hotel manager did discount our stay. The hotel employees were very polite and informative to tourists.

The Westin Grand in D.C. is a comfortable hotel in a great, central location for most of D.C.'s nightlife, shopping, and attractions. The facility itself is mostly in good shape, the bathrooms, in particular, are spacious and well-appointed, although it is a fairly old building, so some rooms are a bit beat up. The prices have increased recently, but it's still a better value for the money than many Washington D.C. hotels in its category.

This hotel made me feel welcome: I am a frequent guest at this hotel, so the staff knows me well and they went out of their way to accommodate my arrival, despite the hotel being overbooked on the night I arrived.

I loved the pool and the nice workout facility. The hotel lived up to expectations.

The hotel is in a good location, but the staff needs better training. The room was large, quiet and generally clean. However, the shower had mildew (I had to ask them to clean it) and more than one appliance could not be used without shorting out the electrical system.

There were not enough trash cans in the room.

I use the hotel every year for the high school prom. The building is beautiful and the hotel staff is excellent, very accommodating to all my needs and requests. The catering manager was the best, she ran the event flawlessly and even helped me handle a difficult vendor. She booked me an immaculate room for the evening. I had a courtyard view that overlooked the pool as well. The bed was truly 'heavenly' with crisp white linen, lots of soft pillows and a nice, warm down comforter. The bathroom was large and luxurious. There were some renovations going on during my stay, but my room was perfect. The pool was closed for renovations. The hotel is located just a few blocks from Georgetown and I went and had a very nice brunch after sleeping late into the morning. If you are planning an event in Washington, the beauty and service of the Westin Grand is hard to beat. The cost is affordable and the quality is excellent.

This hotel made me feel respected: The catering manager was very professional and let me know that my business was appreciated. She personally booked my room for the night. The bellman helped me with my many packages and the reception host was quite courteous. The banquet manager was also extremely courteous and helpful throughout the evening.

This hotel is centrally located. It's within easy walking distance to several sites.

They did an outstanding job for the meeting, good all around service. I was irked that the healthclub was extra.
