The Westin Grand Hotel

This is a nice hotel and the location is good. The rooms were a little beat up. All in all, it was a good stay but the hotel is a little boring. The valet guys and bell staff was very nice and helpful. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is good but is just lacks a little atmosphere.

The staff gave very good directions to the museum. When my door latch came off it was repaired quickly and with humor. The price for a glass of wine at the bar was excessive. I liked the hotel. The accommodations for the conference I attended and the food were better than expected.

It was right by a Metro station which made getting around very easy.

The hotel location is great. The rooms are nice and comfortable. I was disappointed in the pool, it was small and it had partial covering. I would like a spa onsite and a better gym. The service and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful.

The room was in need of a remodel. The shower was stopped up and I had to relocate rooms. The second room had mold from a leaking shower in the sleeping area, it made us sick. The manager did not seem to care when this was brought to his attention.
