35 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Entering Hallways were very humid seemed to be no ventilation. Upon entering room would expect it to be at least somewhat a comfortable temp. it was very humid as well. set a/c as low as it would go on 60 degrees. it cooled off somewhat but only became decently comfortable after midnight then in the mornings became very humid once again. Stayed for 2 nights not sure if i would stay again.

Excellent
The Westin Galleria might be the best hotel I've ever stayed in. There is an enormous pool several stories up, as well as a jacuzzi and an outdoor basketball court. All of this looks down upon the inside of the Galleria.

The Galleria has very nice indoor environment for shopping and window shopping. There many different department stores in the mall. It is very entertaining even if you are not big fan of shopping. The kids can also have fun in ice-skating, videogame ...

We stay at this Westin probably 10 nights a year for the last 4 years. We've enjoyed it, but in our last few visits we have noticed that an update is needed. The carpets could be changed out or at least a good cleaning and the bathrooms could use...
Having stayed many times in Houston's Galleria area, the Westin is a huge disappointment. The Omni, the JW Marriot, Hilton Post Oak and Intercontinental all are much more modern and clean. The Westin should be ashamed of the terribly outdated...
