As with all Westin hotels, the Westin Galleria is a wonderful place to stay in Houston. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms as large and very clean.

What stands out for me (at any Westin) are the beds are just the most comfortable beds and the pillows (I have actually bought one). The baths have the signature double shower head and curved shower bar (yup bought one of these too after a stay at a Westin).

Overall, it’s a great place to stay and being in the Galleria is just a bonus.

The runners map was good, but the areas around the hotel were dangerous to run. There were few sidewalks even on the mapped area. It would have been better to direct people to the nearby college which had a two mile loop. It would have been nice to have shuttle service to places nearby, such as White Rock Lake.

The location in Houston was good but Houston is a spread out city so you pretty much have to rent a car if you go to Houston for business. The price was outrageous and overpriced for the room and the location. It is not a good value for the money. That is what I disliked most about it. This hotel is attached to a shopping mall, which is convenient if you have time to kill or want to eat or have a drink. I will probably try to find a cheaper hotel next time.

I absolutely had a great stay in this hotel. Everyone there was friendly, courteous and professional. I loved being connected to the Galleria, it was great!

The hotel was very good for everything.

The location was ideal and the service for food and drinks was above my expectations.

It was nice. I had the conference rate of $89, which is appropriate for the hotel. The normal rate of $350 is too much for this hotel.

The room smelled a little like smoke for a non-smoking room.

It's an excellent hotel and accommodations located in a nice mall. The bedding was top-notch. Guests should expect to dine in the mall as the hotel does not have an exclusive bar and restaurant.

The only thing I didn't particularly care for during my stay was the small number (two, I think) of computers available for guest use; email, Internet, etc. I didn't particularly enjoy sitting in the gift shop to check my email, either, and the person working the counter seemed more interested in chatting with the security guard than helping me. Otherwise, the hotel met or exceeded all expectations for service and quality.

I was there for a friend's graduation from college and we were treated wonderfully. Room service was beyond good, the room was beautiful and clean and the bed was so comfortable. I loved it and would stay again if and when I get a chance to go back. It was too short of a visit and I hated to leave.
