This hotel shines as a luxury hotel. They offer many great services that include almost 24hour room service and a great staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. The Heavenly Bed was great along with the dual shower heads in the bath. They provided Heavenly bath products were very nice. I went for a swim followed by a relaxing sit in the hot tub. Both were very nice and clean. The gym has a lot of nice equipment that is sponsored by Reebok. The restaurant and bar were very modern with a nice feel and the zen rock garden/bubbling fountain provided a very relaxing atmosphere that seems to radiate throughout the hotel. This hotel is a must for any business or leisure traveler. We stayed here because we had an early morning flight and figured it would be easier to stay at a hotel on the terminal than to go through the process of turning in a car and getting to our gate.
We only booked the hotel for one night and once we entered I wished we could have stayed for a week. The place puts you into such a relaxed mode its seem to wash away the tension just like the water running over their polished pebbles in their fountain.
I am very likely
to return to the The Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

One of the best airport hotels. The rooms are hip, modern and comfortable. The place has a nice vibe. The restaurant is very good. The staff has always been very nice and the location can not be beat. Even with big airplanes right outside the window, you do not hear a thing.

The location is very convenient, the comfort is great. But when you are tired from traveling, you just want a drink from the bar, it is ten minutes to two o'clock in the morning and the bartender tells you the it is impossible, it is rather disappointing to say the least. Plus, the concierge level offers nothing extra on weekends, no breakfast, snacks or drinks. It is closed. At an airport hotel, this is unacceptable. People travel all days of the week. And the options inside security and out at Detroit Metro are not all that great.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the The Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
I might recommend it to friends.

This place can not be beat!! How awesome is it to fly into Detroit, wheel your luggage straight into the hotel lobby you are staying at; and then eat a DIVINE meal and sleep in heavenly bedding? Not to mention the hip Asian influenced Contemporary decor. It is WONDERFUL...have stayed there twice when flying in for THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN WOLVERINE FOOTBALL games, and will do it again shortly!! M GO BLUE and thank you WESTIN!!

My husband and i stopped there when we were on our way to Delhi, India. The flight was long and very tiring. So we checked in for our 10hr halt. The rooms were so tastefully decorated and the decor was really nice. The center court was beautiful. We got to the room and decided to take a nap and the next thing we knew it was time for our flight. It was one of the most relaxing naps i have ever had. The room was at optimum temperature and the bed was very comfortable. The location was right next to our next flight departure gate. The 23-hr journey was not at all tiring after this break
