pros: Supposedly a great place to stay...My parents came to Columbus for their 30th wedding anniversary. They reserved a room at the Westin on Expedia. However, upon checking in at 5:30 pm, they were told that the room had been given to someone...

Excellent
pros: Great food, big portions, presentationWent for lunch, the restaurant wasn't too busy. That is to be expected, it's in a hotel (Westin). Our server was more than knowledgable about the menu, mentioned that the chef worked with Wolfgang Puck...
pros: "Heavenly bed", spa servicesYes, the rooms are small, but that is the charm of an old hotel. We stayed in the Westin over the summer and while the room was small, the bed was VERY comfortable and the room was cool and quiet. The bathroom was ...

We had a wonderful stay. I like the fact that it is an old building but with modern facilities. It was quiet and the room was comfortable. The bedding was warm and wonderful to sleep in. We ate at their restaurant and the server was courteous and very helpful. The food was delightful. Checking in and checking out were a breeze and the people there were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again!
We stayed there for Valentines Day and our twentieth anniversary, so the evening was exciting for us.
I am very likely
to return to the The Westin Columbus.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The entire basin of the bathroom sink had multiple large cracks in the ceramic. The bed covering, the linens, the bed skirt were wrinkled. The bed was not comfortable. The room was very small and cramped.
I am not likely
to return to the The Westin Columbus.
I would not recommend it to friends.

I was promised a refrigerator was on its way into our room several times before it actually got there. There was black mold in the shower. There was no security to control the rowdy hotel guests in the halls.
I am not likely
to return to the The Westin Columbus.
I would not recommend it to friends.

It was a wonderful weekend and a beautiful place to stay. The location was great and the wedding reception was wonderful. It was a bit pricy for our liking.
It was very quiet for a hotel in a large downtown city.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the The Westin Columbus.
I might recommend it to friends.

It is a very nice hotel, but it lacks a pool. I probably should have gotten a better room since I am a preferred star gold member. Our room had no view, only of the inner part of the hotel.
I am very likely
to return to the The Westin Columbus.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
