Excellent
While I personally have yet to stay at the Westin I have had many out of town guests who stay there as it is close by to Southie. Everyone has raved about the service and the rooms.

Way too expensive for what one gets! It's basically a convention center hotel and that's why they can demand the prices they ask. Lobby is too noisy, rooms are routine, although "heavenly beds" are nice. You pretty much have to take a cab to get
Perfect location for conventions and World Trade-affiliated businesspeople, or anyone else looking for high-end accommodations. Beautiful furnishings and well-appointed rooms provide a sense of relaxation and ease. Wireless Internet access is free throughout the hotel, and the entire hotel is non-smoking. LOVE: This hotel is aesthetically GORGEOUS, it's in a fabulous location, and the staff is extremely nice and professional.
DON'T LOVE: The room cleanliness leaves something to be desired, and like other Westins, the the bed sheets are extremely rough. You can also hear a lot of what is going on in the hallways and feel your neighbors' doors slam when they close. Don't order the room service. While the service is excellent, the quality could use some improvement.
it smelled like fish and the staff was unfriendly to my daughter, she slapped her. The rooms were small compared the the super 8 motel and it was trashy compared to the Westin...

Good
We stayed here while visiting family. They live near this hotel, so the location worked out very well. There was always a cab out front... or just a short walk to the T.
A very good looking hotel, modern and clean. The beds were outstanding!...
