This is an old hotel so the lighting in the bathroom and the living area was almost impossible for my wife to see to put makeup on. The food and bar area was overcrowded and understaffed. We receive warm Chardonnay twice, once during noon and again after a show in the evening. At noon I ordered soup and my wife ordered a cob salad. My soup came and I finished it before the cob salad came. We complained to the manager and he did not charge us which was the way to handle it but certainly not the way to run a bar area.

It was everything I have come to expect from a Westin hotel. Their heavenly bed is the best in this price range.

The hotel had absolutely terrific staff and service. It also had nice rooms and comfortable beds. I liked that there was a large variety of restaurants and bars in the complex.

They're in an ideal location and have a knowledgeable friendly staff. The room had a comfortable bed.

It's a wonderful, big hotel. My only advice for tourists is there are no big signs for the hotel, know where you are going before you leave don't use map quest.

See-and-be-seen in the heart of L.A.. The Westin Bonaventure was a treat. We were situated on a very high floor, which offered incredible views of the L.A. skyline. The back wall of the room was floor to ceiling windows, which made for a cool, almost-in-the-clouds type of experience. Westin is consistently good, and I had no issues with this property. Check-in desk was well-staffed and the entire arrival-to-room process took less than 10 minutes. Parking is plentiful and bellhops seemed to be on hand for every guest checking in while we were. The lobby area is fabulous - lush gardens and fountains galore - and the central bar seems to be quite a popular location for Los Angelinos. The room was clean, simple and elegant. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the thick curtains were quite welcome as morning came and the bright California sunshine came streaming in. Room service was just ok, and probably the only part of the Bonaventure experience that I didn't LOVE. A great hotel, and it's even greater if you get that high floor. Request it.

My stay at the Westin was as expected and above expectation in its quality. The service was out of this world and the location was superb. I was able to check in and even pick the room I wanted to stay in due to extra availability.

The stay was very pleasant. The hotel is located in a quite confusing part of downtown Los Angeles. It will be a challenge for new people.

The hotel was so luxurious in every way, especially the beds. My room was smaller than I had on a previous stay, but still very comfortable and accommodating. The only thing I was opposed regarding this hotel was the twenty-five dollar fee to park overnight, and you have to use the valet service. There was no getting around it. This I do not particularly like, and I was really opposed to the parking fee. The hotel was expensive enough without adding such a huge extra cost to guests.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: The bathrooms were very nice and the housekeeper left nice smelling lotions, soaps and shampoos. It was not your average motel type. They would also change the bedding every day if you requested. They changed it when they thought it should be changed, and I had not left a note to do it, they did it anyway.

I liked the beds. They were very comfortable. My only problem was finding my way into the parking garage. The one-way streets were a little confusing and we missed it at least once every time we went back to the hotel.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: My room had great mattresses and bedding. We got a very good night sleep.
