The Westin Bayshore Resort & Marina is a resort hotel in downtown Vancouver! The rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable and clean with stunning views of the harbour, mountains and city skyline. The hotel is walking distance to Stanley Park and many more attractions. There's a great oceanfront outdoor pool from May to October as well as an indoor pool. The health club features a well equipped fitness center as well as a sauna, whirlpool and there's an on-site Registered Massage Therapist. If you want to get out on the ocean, the marina has a variety of charter boats for fishing or cruising. The Currents Restaurant & Lounge has an open concept kitchen and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is quite pricey, but there are plenty of places near the hotel too. The Seawall Bar & Grill offering has great views of the city and mountains and is open for lunch or dinner. The poolside lounge is a lovely place to have drinks and snacks on the patio in the summer. The staff are really polite and helpful. A relaxing and comfortable hotel to stay in.

Beautiful hotel, great location. Only complaint is that parking was a little inconvenient-across street from hotel in large creepy parking gargage AND parking was $*/day...

I liked this hotel. The service good and I really didnt have any major complaints about it. Speedy check in and check out, responded quickly with service, for both food and towels. Other than that, as expected, the best thing about this hotel was the spectacular view, it made for a great story to tell. At night when all the lights are lit up, it seems like a scene from a postcard. Overall I enjoyed this hotel and would considering coming back if I was vacationing with someone I wanted to spend a romantic evening with. If traveling for other reasons, I would probably try another hotel.

Amazing service, the line up to check in went quickly, there was someone there immediatly to help with my bags. Valet was quick and polite. Inside the room, there was a great view, beautiful balcony, and very comfortable beds. I had called for more pillows and they had them delivered within 5 mins! The food was exceptional. I had breakfast in the restaurant, and dinner on the first night, I wanted to go back, but time didnt allow.
This is probably one of the nicest hotels, with great staff. I would reccomend it to anyone!

The Westin Bayshore Resort and Marina is a top class hotel. I've stayed in many hotels in Vancouver and The Westin Bayshore is one of the best experiences. The location of the hotel is gorgeous and convenient. The views from my room, transportation, shopping and dining - everything was perfect! The service at the hotel is very professional. Everyone knows what they're doing and are very happy to serve their customers. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Room service did a great job cleaning and stocking up bathroom toiletries. The hotel in a whole was beautiful. I would come back again if I had the money! Rooms are pretty expensive per night but definitely worth the treat!

Westin Bayshore is located in Vancouver and is a great place to stay.
They offer a of perks to the customers so it makes it seem like we're getting more value than what we paid for. One example, would be the lunch vouchers they provided us on our first day there. The meal would have easily costs us $20 a person, but with the voucher it averaged out to $5. The food was also delicious so we were extremely delighted.
The hotel does not offer parking however, but with the valet parking it is a good trade off. We pay for the parking and the valet simply takes our car away so we don't have to worry about finding a spot.
Rooms here were beautiful with a nice view of the bay area. Service was outstanding. I especially like the fact that whenever I needed something I could just stick my head outside my door and someone would be passing by to help. Don't know if thats planned, but it works to their advantage.

This hotel was awesome and I had a fun time hanging around the most luxuries room. You cannot say this hotel was the worst one as they had the best service comparing to any other of the hotels around Canada. I have been here for almost a decade and I think this hotel was like the simplest and easiest hotel among other hotels. If your planning to have fun with your family or kids then this is the right hotel for you. The swimming pool which I like was the cleanest than any other hotel. Therefore I would rate this as a 10/10 hotel for the best accomodation!

My husband and I and our two kids stayed here back in January. When we arrived at the hotel the staff was exceedingly helpful. Check-in was quick and easy and the room we were given had an excellent view of the water and mountains. The kids loved sitting by the window watching the water planes come in.
The lobby is huge and immaculate and the location is one of the best in Vancouver. Although it rained for the first few days we were there our view made up for it; plus the hotel had an indoor pool, hot tub, workout room and sauna to keep us (and the kids) busy. It is close to everything and it is the only hotel in Vancouver with its own Marina, and is only minutes away from Stanley Park.
We didn't try the restaurant for breakfast, but they do have a little take-out counter where you can order bagels, smoothies, etc. which was really good. The prices were reasonable and the smoothies were delicious. We enjoyed the White Spot Restaurant only a minute drive away. The kids liked getting their food in cardboard boats!!
The room was a good size. The beds were extremely comfortable and since we were on a SPG floor we had free bottles of water in the room that were replenished daily. There is a floor to ceiling sliding glass door, which was nice for taking pictures so you could avoid any glare.
We used the valet a couple times since it was only a couple dollars more then self parking and they had the car ready for us each time we called. Parking is about $20ish from what I remember and that is pretty average for downtown Vancouver.
Overall, one of the best Westin hotels we've stayed at!
I should mention that the first day we arrived in Vancouver we stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott. For those who need a larger room and kitchenette then I would also recommend this hotel. Since the room was so large it is perfect for those travelling with kids.
