The hotel is new, has a morning breakfast in the Executive Suite & snacks & evening fare as well. Excellent indoor pool, hot tub & excercise room. But what most impressed us were the personnel. Not one employee passed us without a greeting. When we needed assistance, they were there to help in all ways. We will return & highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Arlington area.
This is my preferred hotel when traveling to the Arlington area for work. It's all nonsmoking (although alot of hotels are going that way). It's new & clean. The staff is friendly.

The hotel was beautiful. The room was fantastic. My problem was with the non-smoking rule. The only place for a smoker is a wet windy balcony in the dark on the second floor. I think the hotel should have an indoor smoking area, especially considering the rate charged for the rooms!
I felt that the hotel was classy because of the spacious lobby, the fresh flowers everywhere, the bathrobe, the toiletries, and the valet services.
I am very likely
to return to the The Westin Arlington Gateway.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The bed was absolutely wonderful! The location was nice, as there were a lot of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The woman who helped us check in was extremely friendly and helpful.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the The Westin Arlington Gateway.
I might recommend it to friends.

I had called the hotel directly to confirm that we could bring our cat with us, as we were relocating to the area and needed temporary housing. On arrival, we were advised that they do not accept cats. I had to plead for them to let us stay. They have an unfriendly staff.
