Good
Everything was perfect, except for the fact that it cost $23.00 to get coffee brought to your room in the morning. I realize it is a fancier hotel, but coffee pots in the room would be a great help.

Mediocre
When you pay for a luxury hotel, you expect the services of one. That is not what I got. There was rarely anyone hailing taxis, the bellmen wouldn't get my luggage and my reserved king bed was unavailable so they had me move after one night. I...

This is one of the classic hotels of New York, brimming with history. The lobby in particular is very nice, with the famous clock and large, fresh floral display. The restaurants and bars are quite good, as is the location near Grand Central Station, St. Patricks and Rockefeller Center. Service is good. I've stayed there a few times and will stay again.

Okay
The lobby and restaurants are great at this establishment. Our room had alot of noise from the city and wasn't what you would expect from the Waldorf. I've had better salon experiences in the city but the stylist did a good job.

I received exquisite service and elegant room service, at this historic hotel. Watch all those movies where friends and lovers meet at the clock in the Waldorf Astoria lobby before you go! The hotel is in a great location for out of town visitors who want to take in New York sights.
The wall and the floor coverings, the lighting and the fabrics on the furniture as well as the quality individual shops around the ground floor, provided a setting in which I felt elegant. Knowing some of the history also added to the experience.
I am very likely
to return to the The Waldorf Astoria.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
