The complementary breakfast buffet was excellent. The heating system was dated and did not heat up the room quickly. This hotel has great potential. The grounds are beautiful (even in the rain and snow!). A good value for the price. The complementary ...

Cozy, comfortable and clean. Great value.I would have like Internet access in the room, the restaurant buffet was mediocre and the restaurant service was bad. We had an "older" room that we found comfortable and nice. This is not really a resort...

Excellent
Breakfast buffet was excellent, garden patio off room.Bed was hard. Close to freeway, hot tub and pool open all year, lounge entertainment, nice decor, close to shopping, very clean.

My husband and I recently stayed at Village Green for 4 nights in one of their remodeled rooms and enjoyed our stay immensely. The room was very cozy with a fireplace, down comforter on the bed, and its own private patio with some flowers. When we had a minor maintanence issue, I called the front desk and they were there to fix it in less than 5 minutes. Their were also acres and acres of gardens which were just wonderful to wander around in. Our package included a free dinner in the restaurant. The food and service was wonderful. We had breakfast each morning in the restaurant. Even though the food was only pretty good, due to the friendly staff and nice ambience we very much looked forward to breakfast each morning. I can't remember staying in a place that we enjoyed more and felt more taken care of than we did at Village Green.

Okay
Nice gardens. Not all sections updated or remodeled; we got the old section. Someday the whole place will be nice, but now there's a huge difference between the "good" rooms and the "old" ones.

Personally, I was expecting more tranquility than I found. The description of the patios overlooking the gardens excluded mention of the spectacular view of I-5 just beyond the property. The fireplace in my room, (the most expensive suite) was not distraction enough from the steady noise of traffic. The grounds were nice, but I had envisioned something else. It's still a decent place to stay, just don't expect the garden of Eden.
