57 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
About a week a go my sister and her companion stayed at your casino.
STRIKE ONE
When they arrived they were advised that they only had a room reserved for 7 days. And they would have to add another day if they wanted to stay for the 8 days they previously thought they had reserved the room for online. They said go ahead and add another day. They went up to their room, thinking everything was taken care of.
STRIKE TWO
So when they were finishing up their 7th day, they woke up to a call from your lobby asking when they would be leaving that day. They advised the person that they had added another day when they first arrived. Your "check in" peerson advised them that there was no record of them adding the extra day and that they would have to come down to the lobby and make arrangements to stay another day. They again said OK and went to the lobby and once again made arrangements with the day "check in" person, who told them that all they had to do was change there keys and it would all be taken care of. So "once again" thinking everything was taken care of, off they went for their last day in Vegas.
STRIKE THREE
When they get back to their room Saturday nite, they find out that there pass cards don't work. So down to the lobby they go again. They ask what gos and the nite "check in" person advises them that they were supposed to check out Saturday so they canceled their cards. My sister "once again" advises them of everything that happen from day one. The nite "check in" person advises them that there is no record of any such actions being taken. My sister advised them ok go ahead and add the last day. They said they would but it wouldn't be at the regular price, now the cost for ONE DAY would be 889 dollars. Per all the rooms have been rented all ready. My sister thinking they didn't have a room now ask where their belongings were and they told her, no no no there still in the room they would just have to pay 889 dollars to stay that nite.
YOUR OUT
My sister wanting to get this mess over with went ahead and paid it. So I blame that on her, but by god for a Big Corporation to have employees make 3 mistakes and then still make the customer pay for their mistakes. I find that intolerable. What happen to the "customer was always right" You could have had everything verified by the time they got up to go the next morning (and apoligized!). All you had to do is talk to the people they dealt with during the day. Check the videos, I'm sure you have cam corders set up at the "check in" desk. But oh no, apparently the customer is always wrong at your casino. I can not sit and watch this travesty of customer service. So as you can tell I'm emailing everyone in my address book and am asking them to do the same with their address book and please make sure you leave the venetian casino's email address (comments@venetian.com) on your email when you forward this message. Maybe next time you'll teach your employees correct customer service.
