The concierge was not very helpful during our stay. The rooms were very nice, though, and the bathrooms were exquisite.

I thought the hotel was awesome, much more than I expected! The location on the strip is perfect, right in the middle of all the action. From our window we could see the Treasure Island show and fireworks display which was really cool. Service was great, we were treated wonderfully, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is a bit pricey, but worth every penny spent!
This hotel made me feel welcome: We were always greeted cordially every time we walked through the front door. The front desk staff were attentive to our needs and had us checked in less than five minutes after we arrived. We also got married there, and they made us feel that our wedding was special with their attention to detail. They made sure everything was perfect.
I am
somewhat likely
to return to the The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
I
would definitely recommend it to

They offer the most friendly service in Las Vegas. They have the best quality rooms and the environment is great.
This hotel made me feel practical: I like to get great service and not have to worry about the small details. The Venetian hotel goes above and beyond to make sure all the little things are taken care of.

very likely

The hotel offers a great room for the money. The dining options are by far some of the best on the Strip and the resorts offers a unique feel not found at other casinos.
This hotel made me feel practical: The hotel is practical because with the awesome layout you do not always feel pressure to gamble, which is hard to find in Las Vegas.
I am
very likely
to return to the The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
I
would definitely recommend it to

The hotel has a great location, in the heart of everything. It was a beautiful place to stay. You would not even have to leave to enjoy your vacation if you did not want to.
This hotel made me feel relaxed: I did not have anything to stress over. Everything was beautiful and completely taken care of. It was so relaxing.

I believe that the location is very good for Vegas. It's on the Strip close to other hotels. I just wish that the taxi lines were not so long.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Venetian. The staff was really helpful and pleasant. It was a great time to visit Vegas, the weather was perfect. Also, tech support was awesome with getting my computer connected online in my room.

Beautiful exterior, Disgusting rooms

I was both impressed and unimpressed with the Venetian. They clearly spent a lot of time, money, and effort on the experience, particularly with the exterior of the hotel, but my room was filthy.
There were candy wrappers on the floor by the bed, grime on the bathroom floor that it took housekeeping 2 requests to fix, and worst of all, dried phlegm on the wall next to the bed left by a previous occupant. Disgusting!
My complaints to the management resulted in a half-hearted promise of reparations for a future stay which never arrived. I could tell while I was talking to him that he didn't really care.
So I'd suggest this hotel was a nice place to visit, but go stay somewhere else.

Great location!
Great atmosphere!
Great fun!
A little disappointed about the beds though, the mattress was not great and I expected the sheets and comforters to be softer. But when in Vegas, who spends time in bed anyway!

This is typical Vegas -- the rooms are huge and everything is tacky. It's not the best hotel, the rooms aren't well cleaned, and the TV's seem like from the 1970's, but when in Vegas this is the real thing.

I loved the room - very comfortable. The staff was friendly, the grand canal is worth a trip alone if you like shopping and dining. The restaurants were top-notch and the casino was an absolute blast. A great spot for anyone in their 20's and over.

I thought the hotel was top notch. It provided an "experience." The rooms/suites are large, the staff is very professional, and the casino is clean and relatively smoke-free. The riverway that runs through the shopping plaza is completely amazing... hard to tell if you're inside or outside. Treat yourself to The Venetian.

Venetian: The Gem of the Strip

I visited about 15 hotel & casinos on the Strip, and I really liked the Venetian Hotel the best. The decor is fun, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the air quality was among the best of the Strip casinos. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Clearly a world-class establishment.
Like every other hotel & casino in Las Vegas, smoking is allowed pretty much anywhere. As a non-smoker, that bothered me some, but compared to other hotels on the Strip, only the Mirage had better ventilation.

Though there was a broken picture frame and a burned-out light in my room, the big bathtub and quiet, large rooms were a good respite from the buzz of the Strip.

The hotel was very nice. The carpet appeared worn and it was frayed in a few areas. The room cleaning service did a great job and had some personal touches that were appreciated. The primary problem was getting them the faxed credit card authorization. We had faxed it in twice prior to our arrival and confirmed that it was taken care of. However, upon arrival it had disappeared. We had it faxed again and still when we went to check out they still did not have it. Additionally, a colleague that was staying in another room experienced a morning with no hot water. When he reported it to the hotel staff they did not show much concern. I expected more of an apology and some type of compensation for his inconvenience and discomfort.
I am
not likely
to return to the The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
I
would not recommend it to

The outdoor nightclubs project a gret deal of noise -- they woke us up two different nights. I do not advise others to pay the full rate -- it's not worth it.
