We just got back from the Palazzo and we will NEVER SET FOOT in this hotel again. We booked it because it was new and looked beautiful...however, the service is horrible...and the management is unresponsive. (maybe they take of their high rollers but they could care less about everyone else). As advertised, we had a nice flat screen tv in the bathroom. However, the remotes from the other tv's did not work in the bathroom and there was no remote in the bathroom. After requests three days in a row, we finally got one...Our first day there, we returned after being out of the room for 8 hours to find that the room hadn't been cleaned..we called the front desk and spoke to a manager who told us that it is a large hotel and that they clean rooms from 7am to 8pm...and then he asked me if I requested full service????

Two nights later, we got back after 10 hours away and we had posted the sign on the door asking them to clean the room, and at 7pm at night, nobody had cleaned the room....we told management and they said that the housekeeping manager would be right up there. After waiting 30 minutes and no manager in sight, we called back the manager at the front desk only to be told that she left for the day!!!! We then demanded to see the manager of the entire hotel and he was rude and offensive to us for complaining and said that he would get our room cleaned for us..

We had paid for a six night package through travelocity and we thought that we could not check out, but travelocity called the hotel and got us out of there for the last night...I wish I had called them sooner..I didn't realize that you could cancel the package earlier...the hotel told me that there was nothing they could do to let us check out early- that we could only do that through travelocity...

as I said, I WOULD NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS HOTEL again....sorry for the long post but as you can see, I am still steaming from this experience and for the way I was treated!

Great service. Great atmosphere. We arrived on a very cold and windy day before Xmas 07 and was attended to very quickly at reception. Bit of a walk to the elevators (Venetian). Stayed on the 17th floor looking over the pools and towards Treasure Island. Rooms were graet with 3 TV's and marble bathroom. Need more storage space for 4 travellers with 4 suitcases. Was warned not to touch the minibar as the fridge is pressure sensitive if you pick up the drinks. Automatically charged to your credit card. Beware! Cannot put your own drinks in the fridge. Impossibe to get a kettle to boil your own water. There was a stench like raw sewerage as we walked past the service elevators on our way to the room. Hope they fix this. Housekeeping good. We come back to a clean and tidy room after lunch. Would not hesitate to return again.

Amazing, but HUGE hotel! Checking area was incredible, if not even a little over the top. Very nice bellhop and desk staff. Stayed in the Venezia (club) tower, with private entrance. Nothing special however to pay the extra price for. Suites were very nice. Loved the dual floor separations. Bathrooms were amazing. Pools were a step up of class. Room service was decent, but expensive as expected. Restaurants the same. Spa was OK, not to the level I would have expected for the rest of the hotel. If you plan on going, wear your walking shoes! Its a hike to anything!

I am very likely to return to the The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I loved the fact that you could just stay inside the hotel. It is gorgeous. You can gamble, shop, eat and watch a show and never leave the hotel. The rooms were awesome. Very spacious. Yes you had to walk alot, but it was absolutely worth it. Had a great time. Only thing i didn't like was that they would never leave clean towels. They wouldn't take the used/wet ones. Check in time was 3 but was able to get into one of the rooms at 11. Planning to honeymoon in December there.

I just got back from a 5 day stay. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are all suites. I stayed in the executive tower (Venezia I think). It's the upgraded tower with private check in and elevators, and private pool. There were a few complaints. 1. Thank god for private check in! It still took 30 mins. The hotel grounds are gorgeous and enormous, which means a lot of people checking in and out.. We checked in at midnight, and still had to wait 30 mins. 2. Although the executive tower is nicer, it's SO far from the casino and the main lobby. I was constantly carrying my shoes.

The pros: 1. Extremely nice staff (once you get a hold of them. Average 15 minute hold for concierge). 2. Prompt room service (but not good food. Maybe 3 stars). 3. AMAZING turn down service. I left the room trashed all the time, and it was spotless when I cam back.

All in all, I stayed here because the Wynn and Bellagio didnt have anymore suites available and I generally stay here as a fall back to the above 2.

Definitely a top 3 hotel. Better than the Mirage, the Palms or Hard Rock, as they are very much 20 to 30 something hotels that are more hype than luxury.

Will continue to stay here as my back up suite hotel.

Upon checking in we didn't get the room we booked. Attitude of the staff, concierge & even corporate office was horrible. (We did complain to corporate...no resolution to any problems we had). Bell boys/people had attitude bringing our luggage. Daughter got food poisoning from the restaurant...still no reply from the Venetian or apologies regarding this. Went to the pool at 7:00 pm to find out it was closed...this was after we inquired about the time the pool closed. Asked for a small capful of dishwashing soap to clean our babies bottle and housekeeping & concierge stated they do not use soap to clean their dishes...nor would they help us.

Not enough gambling tables or slot machines. Room was not clean & smelled.

Great place to stay! The rooms are very large with pedestal beds, sunken living rooms, and some have multiple bathrooms... Definitely makes you feel like you are in a high roller suite! Also, the casino is a great place to gamble. The dealers are extremely helpful.

I've stayed here several times. Beautiful luxury hotel with selection of excellent restaurants. Pool is very average, but otherwise a great place in a great location.

I am very likely to return to the The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Tried to check in at 3pm - were not able to until 4:45pm. Had checked luggage when we came in, and after 4 (yes 4) calls to the bell desk it finally appeared 1 1/2 hours later. What was irritating was they kept lying on the phone - "it's on its way", "it will be there in 10 minutes," etc. The room was OK, a Rialto suite. Very big, but a lot of wasted space. Pools - 4 acres of pools the hotel says- well that may be the total area, but the pool is just normal size. Could be just luck, but the gambling at the Venetian was very unlucky, at least for me and my wife. Couple that with $12 gin and tonics in the Casino, the incessant walking to get anywhere, and take my word for it: stay at The hotel at Mandalay Bay. Never again at the Venetian.

We stayed in this hotel earlier this year and we had a great time. It is in a great location, and the restaurants were superb. We saw the Blue Man Group there as well, and that was an interesting experience, but a lot of fun. Can't comment on the pool as it was too cold then to use it, but it looked nice from our room window. The construction did not bother us at all, and had great views of the Volcano at Mirage, and the Sirens battle over at TI. Housekeeping was great in keeping the room clean and supplied with towels. Only complaint would be that the furniture looked slightly run down, but other than that, no complaints.
