Tropics Hotel, Caye Caulker is a dump

60 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I booked this place from there online web page which showed a nice clean hotel. What I got was a room that the shower had no water, the TV was broken, the a/c was broken, drop cloth for a floor, holes in the floor, mildew on the walls, paint falling off, and then there was construction noise. I tried to get a refun and they told me no refunds even when I did not get a proper working room. Don't stay here you will regret it. They give no refunds at all so kiss any prefpay goodby. This owner is very cheapa and a con man. He should be locked up..
