My room was comfortable and beautiful. It was also very clean and spacious. Almost anything you asked for was brought to you quickly with a friendly visit. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The staff was friendly and very accommodating and the beds were like heaven to sleep in.

The hotel clerks did not know the local area.

The dry cleaning service was bad.

The hotel is in a convenient location close to Beverly Hills and with easy access and parking. It has an outstanding staff, especially at the front desk and valet parking. They were very friendly towards pets. I have recommended their pet program to many friends. They were excellent at resolving a problem caused by one of my pets.

This hotel made me feel respected: The staff frequently remembered our names and catered to our needs and those of our two dogs. Our pets received royal treatment. The valet provided every accommodation expected.

We were highly disappointed in our recent stay at the Loews Beverly Hills. This was our first stay at a Loews hotel and we were really disappointed.

The hotel is located along a very busy street. If you are a light sleeper, do not book this hotel. The street noise is extremely loud. I used to live in downtown Washington, D.C. so road noise usually doesn't bother me, but this hotel is so close to a busy highway that it actually bothered me!

Parking is by valet only and is $26 per night. The hotel is a very small boutique hotel. The front desk staff was pleasant but I didn't get the "luxurious service" feel as you do in most boutique hotels.

The common areas of the hotel are very nice. The rooms have very eclectic decor and are very large and spacious. The rooms had an oversized sitting chair, desk and office chair, spacious bathroom with very deep soaking tub, and swanky granite countertops and cheery floor tile. Each room has a lovely private balcony that overlooks the city of Los Angeles or Century City -- that was the best part of the hotel! The location is good (near residential neighborhoods) but it is not within walking distance of any attractions or shops, with the exception of a grocery store across the street.

My largest complaint is with the bed and the lack of individually controlled room thermostats. The beds are Tempurpedic, which means a large slab of memory foam. No mattress, no support. It was just awful. You sink into the foam and it "conforms" to your body. I had a difficult time sleeping on this weird bed. It was really difficult to sit in bed and read, too, because you would just sink so far into the bed! And since the weather was a little cool, the hotel had shut off the air conditioning so your in-room thermostat was useless. We were very hot and had to leave the balcony doors open all night to keep the room cool, which made it even more difficult to sleep due to the excessive road noise! It was not a relaxing hotel stay in the least. Thankfully we only had to stay one night.

I would not recommend this hotel. I would never stay here again as it is simply not worth the price.
