The staff frequently remembered our names and catered to our needs and those of our two dogs. Our pets received royal treatment. The valet provided every accommodation expected.

We were highly disappointed in our recent stay at the Loews Beverly Hills. This was our first stay at a Loews hotel and we were really disappointed.
The hotel is located along a very busy street. If you are a light sleeper, do not book this hotel. The street noise is extremely loud. I used to live in downtown Washington, D.C. so road noise usually doesn't bother me, but this hotel is so close to a busy highway that it actually bothered me!
Parking is by valet only and is $26 per night. The hotel is a very small boutique hotel. The front desk staff was pleasant but I didn't get the "luxurious service" feel as you do in most boutique hotels.
The common areas of the hotel are very nice. The rooms have very eclectic decor and are very large and spacious. The rooms had an oversized sitting chair, desk and office chair, spacious bathroom with very deep soaking tub, and swanky granite countertops and cheery floor tile. Each room has a lovely private balcony that overlooks the city of Los Angeles or Century City -- that was the best part of the hotel! The location is good (near residential neighborhoods) but it is not within walking distance of any attractions or shops, with the exception of a grocery store across the street.
My largest complaint is with the bed and the lack of individually controlled room thermostats. The beds are Tempurpedic, which means a large slab of memory foam. No mattress, no support. It was just awful. You sink into the foam and it "conforms" to your body. I had a difficult time sleeping on this weird bed. It was really difficult to sit in bed and read, too, because you would just sink so far into the bed! And since the weather was a little cool, the hotel had shut off the air conditioning so your in-room thermostat was useless. We were very hot and had to leave the balcony doors open all night to keep the room cool, which made it even more difficult to sleep due to the excessive road noise! It was not a relaxing hotel stay in the least. Thankfully we only had to stay one night.
I would not recommend this hotel. I would never stay here again as it is simply not worth the price.

I loved the accommodation and we were upgraded to a jacuzzi room. It had a great view and decor! The restaurant was not very interesting. Overall, it was a great value!

According to the TIA (Travel Industry of America) 51% of pet owners travel with their pets. Lowes Beverly Hills Hotel has tapped into this market. They offer a fantastic Pet Program - VIP - Very Important Pet. Staying up with the trends is paramount in so-chic Beverly Hills, and guests traveling with pets is the "in thing."
A room which is designated for a "pet guest" has two dog bowls, bottled water and gourmet treats (which are made especially for Loews Hotel chain.) A room service menu is available for your pampered pooch. Bow Wow Tenderloin, Chow Hound Chicken or Rin Tin Tin, are just a few of the choices from which "Fido" can pick from.
If guests prefer to eat outside, Loews has a wonderful outside cafe, allowing owners and their pet to dine together. Should you choose to go out at night, a dog sitting service is available for an extra fee. Usually $20-$25 and hour, with a three hour minimum. The VIP Program is a win-win situation for the many people who consider their pet part of the family.

Good
Loews is an interesting chain. Each hotel is different. Some our more luxurious than others. In the elevators at this hotel is an advert that suggests that a reader's poll found them to be the best "upper upper luxury hotel chain". Not really....

Large rooms with balcony-choose parking lot side-can see Hollywood letters on hill and nice view. Therapedic beds-includes continental breakfast. Boutique hotel has changed hands frequently, but staff and service has remained great. Best value for the location-parking is high priced, but rooms are reasonable for location and LA. We stay there 4 times a year.
