The Time, described as a 'design boutique hotel,' is situated near many theatres and restaurants, so its an excellent place to stay if you want to watch a show. Colour, and how it affects your moods, are a main basis and theme of this hotel so expect something a little different! There are multilingual news broadcasts of every guest floor corridor and each of the rooms are decorated using 1 of the 3 primary colours as a theme. So if you are in a red room, you will see, smell or taste themes of red in many areas of the rooms, with the same for yellow and blue! A good idea which works well. All the rooms are comfortable and very well equipped. There is an exercise room on site, as well as a nice Lounge, when you cn sit and relax. The bar serves speciality martinis and gorgeous tapas. All the staff here are friendly, helpful and welcoming - a great hotel.

The Time is convenient for theatre, has a very solid restaurant, quiet and elegant bar, and extremely beautiful, very modern rooms. There is an old fashioned Italian trattoria right next door that has a spectaluar lemon chicken, and extremely fresh

Location was perfect. Room smaller than excpeted. Some things need fixing (most of the light switches, sink). Front desk was unpolite. Luggage storage on departure date with expensive fee.

Good
Be advised, the ground floor entrance is beside the hotel restaurant and the lobby is connected to the bar area. At night this area gets very very loud and is club like. I would not recommend for families with children or a romantic stay. This is...

We stayed at The Time Dec 11-15 2008 and plan to be back again. The hotel is reasonably priced by New York standards and 1 block away from all the main subway lines. The hotel is on a semi-quiet side street one block off Time Square. We were...

Trendy, modern feel. Lobby is very modern and comfortable and the Serafina restaurant smells wonderful (though the prices are through the roof). The location is perfect - right near Times Square. This would be an excellent choice for those used t
