I attended the shining ball and took the ghost tour led by callea. I was very impressed with her knowledge and enjoyed the tour very much. She really kept it fun and made you feel like you were right at home. AAA+ I will definitely be back and enjoy a room next time!

What a beautiful historical hotel! The detailed woodwork is amazing in the Billard room, etc. If you want to experience a night in an old hotel, this is the place. It definately is not a modern hotel with all the bells and whistles, but that is why...
I got married at The Stanley in August, 2008. I would never recommend them to anyone. They were EXTREMELY unorganized, and unreliable. Dealing with The Stanley was the most stressful and frustrating part of our entire wedding planning process.

They need to keep playing up the Steven King angle because...
The Stanley Hotel is a building that does not measure up to it's designation as a "Great Lodges of the National Parks" reputation. The building and amenities are a case in point. This hotel does not live

Horrible
We disliked everything. The Stanley Hotels' reputation was far from what is advertised, we have never experienced such bad management, service & total lack of respect in our lives.
We strongly advise no-one to endure the disaster...
