Really beautiful hotel, huge rooms. Marble bathtub is amazing.
While all the staff was very pleasant, the gentleman who checked my girlfriend and I in (we're a young lesbian couple) asked twice during the check-in process if a single king was ok

I usually love the St Regis brand. I have stayed at a few and when I had a night to kill and wanted a comfortable place to relax in the midst of a long business trip, I checked into the St Regis. How could you go wrong? Well, this is not your normal St Regis. The place needed a touch up, the staff was not very helpful, and it was noisy. My room was over the loading dock and employee entrance. Behind that was a construction site. Behind that was a train that rolled by every 2 hours. I thought I was in a Red Roof Inn in Wichita. What a waste of money and more importantly, I did not get the good nights sleep I was searching for. Dont pay the extra money to stay here.

I love the Saint Regis. The hotel is a little aged, but that is part of the charm. The only problem, they made reservations for us at a local restaurant and when we arrived the restaurant said they didn't even take reservations. That was very frustrating. Im not sure who made the mistake, the restaurant or the hotel concierge.
It has a great atmosphere and service.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the The St. Regis Houston.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
