It was a great hotel, with a great staff, a little pricey, but it was a nice place. I would consider staying there again.

I am somewhat likely to return to the The Seelbach Hilton Louisville.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I've stayed at the Seelbach 6 times now and can honestly say it is my hotel of choice! I love the history and ambiance of the hotel and the Oak Room restaurant has superior food.

You need to talk to the hotel personnel to get a bit of history and a few interesting ghost stories to truly enjoy the experience.

We stayed at the Seelbach Hilton in June of 2007. The hotel was very beautiful, although rooms were small as is usually true, for "in the city" hotels. Another review said that the music from "fourth street live" was a problem but for us it was right below room but on the 5th floor we could not hear it. The dining was impeccable, but expensive. This would not be a family oriented hotel. Small children would feel cramped and bored. One problem we experienced was that when we arrived garbage was piled up outside our room and was not removed until the next day. Hotel staff were courteous. Room was not as clean as we would have liked. there were fresh drink rings on table, and drink swizzle sticks on night stand. Which leaves you to wonder what other things were not cleaned? While the hotel had charm, most of its employees, while physically attractive, had very nasty attitudes.

Most of the food was common, nothing I couldn't find anywhere else.

The servers at my business function were rude, loud, and at times inappropriate.

4th Street Live is definitely an unwelcome part of staying at the Seelbach. While the hotel offers old worldly charm, the bar atmosphere only feet away is rowdy, and can detract from the sometimes sub-par ambience.

I am somewhat likely to return to the The Seelbach Hilton Louisville.
I would not recommend it to friends.

This hotel made me feel excited: This was a Bible retreat and they were very respectful of everyone involved. When we had a 2-hour quiet time where no one was to speak, they respected that and it was quiet everywhere we were.

I am very likely to return to the The Seelbach Hilton Louisville.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: I feel Hilton is an 'upper crust' hotel chain and the specific Hilton (Seelbach) has a sophisticated reputation.

32 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business

It's a very nice hotel in general, though the room itself was not very up to date. The bathroom door did not close, wires were running along the floor. To an extent, this goes with the character of the hotel, but for the money it should be kept up a little better.

This hotel made me feel excited: I am not used to staying in such a nice hotel; it was a cut above, and a great experience.

I do not know if my experience with the Seelbach, a grand hotel that has been in business since 1905, can be generalized to include other Hiltons. I have stayed in other Hilton hotels, but the Seelbach was a cut above the rest.

This hotel made me feel pampered: It was much more luxurious than expected.
