The Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort Hotel - Page 1

I have never stayed at the sandpiper, simply because I prefer a condo, but I have visited the Tiki Bar every summer for the past twelve years and it is awesome. Jessie and Chris, You Rock!! I Love You Guys!!

We are use to staying in condo's every year but this year due to last min booking and only staying 5 nights we opt for Sandpiper. We had a blast. I have 4 teenage kids and they had a ball and there was no drinks offered to them at all.

The slide was great for them, the lazy river was great for us. The towels are small but the staff was very nice to us. Housekeeping asked us everyday if we would like our room cleaned so we had no problem with that.

The place is old has been there long time and needs some updating but the rooms were clean and so were the grounds.

I have stayed at this resort for three vactions, but this year after making a call to them to see if there had been any upgrades(Not) my family and I decided to stay at another resort. I don't know what has happened, but this resort has gone down hill every year. To bad, to sad. I guess all management is worried about is the almighty $, they aren't thinking about the customers. I will not return here until new management is in place, the place is cleaned up and the Florida Drug and Alcohol Division is called in to check out all the underage drinking going on. We stayed at a wonderful place called the Summerhouse this year and had a great time!!!

7 DAY STAY,2 DAYS ONLY DID WE HAVE HOUSE KEEPING.WE HAD TO GO TO THE OFFICE AND PICK UP TOWELS AND TOILET TISSUE PER THE DESK CLERK,THEY DON'T DELIVER.WE TOOK OUT OUR OWN TRASH.THE ROACHES AND STRAY CATS OWNED THE PLACE.PHONED AT LEAST 4 TIMES FOR CREDIT CARD ERROR,NO RETURNED CALLS,AND TWO HANG UPS FROM THE DESK CLERK.FILED A DISPUTE WITH CREDIT CARD COMPANY.AVOUD THIS TRAP AT ALL COST.

I paid $606.00 for two nights of pure misery at this roach resort. Roaches were crawling everywhere. In our room, they were crawling up the walls and on the floors. They invaded the food or drinks we had in our room. They even crawled on our toothbrushes. I reported this problem to the front desk and they assured me that they would send someone up to spray these pest but no one ever came. We checked out early because we were to afraid to sleep.

Oh yea, there were no remotes in our room and we had to use a box fan to cool our bedroom.

I should have known better than to stay here because when I checked in one guest was filing some sort of police report against the front desk clerk.

In my opinion, this place is hurricane material.
