Wow i'm so glad I didn't take the negative reviews seriously! I wasn't going to attempt it but after calling in I was convinced by the reservation agent that I would be happy, and boy was it a good decision. This truely is a unique hotel. the deluxe
Not sure what all has changed since the other reviews but this thing is a hidden jewel. Original art adorns the grounds and the deluxe suites are trick. Not sure how many rooms haven't been renovated. Fig Garden Village is a great part of town FY

Horrible
Took forever to check in. Got to room which was old and dirty, TV broken. Went to go to bed and found feces smeared on blanket and linen. Carried the blanket to the front desk, showed to clerk and night manager. Changed our room to another...

I was over charged by $* by their mistake and they are very slow to give that money back, the staff wouldnt even get off the phone while checking me in to tell me where or what number my room was. And when we got to the room I had to take a wash...

the room is cleaned, although the furniture is old. It has free interet, free breakfast, tea, coffee ...etc. It's out of my expected, compare with other hotels around, maybe cheaper but Filthy and not safety around. I would recommend that hotel.
