This is a 3* superior tourist property with superb location. The hotel also has banquet & conference facilities as well as an extensive choice of recreational facilities including a public swimming pool and a large gym. This hotel is an excellent choice for leisure and business traveller thanks to it's excellent location. (KC Oct07) This is a 16-storey modern building. This hotel is located in the middle of the shopping, entertainment and business district of Tsim Sha Tsui. It is adjacent to the Cultural Centre, Space Museum and Historic Clock Tower. Just a few steps away from the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, the Star Ferry Pier and the Nathan Road, it is also conveniently about 40 minutes drive to the Hong Kong International Airport.

Originally built in 1925 next to Victoria Harbor, The Salisbury - YMCA of Hong Kong, which is located in the heart of the shopping district and near the Convention and Exhibition Center, boasts magnificent views of both the harbor's busy waterways and Hong Kong Island. Recently refurbished, the hotel offers two indoor pools, sauna and jacuzzi, indoor rock climbing center, gymnasium with aerobic studio, squash courts, and an outdoor garden area with children's playground. In the rooms we offer complimentary movies and tea and coffee making facilities.

36 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for business
The YMCA is ideally located in the busy Tsim Sha Tsui district which has a high density of shops, restaurants, and transport options.
Adjacent to the peninsula and a stones throw from a range of other hotels, the YMCA offers significant value due to the views of Victoria Harbour available in 'Harbour View Rooms'. Every such room I have stayed in offering an exceptional viewing of the 'Symphony of lights' held daily at 8 pm incorporating a laser show featuring the most prominent buildings on either side of the harbor synchronized to music on the radio.
The hotel itself offers generous size rooms with a simple decor. The bathroom facilities are adequate although those with high demand for luxury may not be satisfied with this. To date, I have not experienced any noisy rooms and the staff clean daily providing an excellent service. All the customer service staff are fluent in English and are always friendly.
On totaling my stays at the YMCA Salisbury I have spent almost 65 nights when traveling to Hong Kong on business and leisure. I strongly recommend this hotel as it is close to everything and on the start of the Golden Mile.
