We stayed at the Royal Scot in September, 2008 and absolutely loved it. We found the front desk staff very helpful and the breakfast staff a delight. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was very quiet, although it was obvious that they were...

Excellent
The Royal Scot Suite Hotel is not the fanciest I have ever stayed in, but it is the Absolute Best Hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment I checked in, all my needs were met, including some I didn't even know I had! Due to a medical...
We really liked this place because it was affordable, just steps away from the inner harbour and all of downtowns attractions, but yet very quite. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would definatly stay here again.
26 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed at the Royal Scot Suite Hotel for 2 nights and had an amazing time. The room we had were huge and everything was very clean. We had a room with a king size bed in separate bedroom, and a hide-a-bed in living room. The bed was the ultimate in comfort, and the bathroom was gorgeous and spacious. When we entered the room, there were two fans on, and the windows were open, which we appreciated. The lady in the gift shop and the front desk staff were VERY friendly. We would return again! They really care about customer service. Overall the hotel was a delight to be in. I enjoyed it and I recommend it to others.

35 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We spent two nights at this property and it was a great location for exploring Victoria on foot (one block off the waterfront). We had a spacious 1-bdrm./1 bath, clean suite with kitchenette and dining area that accomodated 4 people well and had plenty of room for a rollaway twin bed. My family enjoyed the pool table and pool/workout room (though small and in basement). The on-site restaurant was booked by tours for breakfast, but there were many restaurants/coffee houses within walking distrance. Great hotel for families.
This is a great value and location. The staff was young, but competent. One experience where we had to wait for a shuttle for 45 minutes due to lack of communication, but overall I would recommend this hotel. Be aware that there is no air...

The room was very big and everything was very clean. The room also smelled fresh. We had a room with a queen bed in separate bedroom, and a hide-a-bed in living room. When we entered the room, there were two fans on, and the windows were open, which we appreciated. The lady in the giftshop and the front desk staff were VERY friendly. We would return again! They really care about customer service. There was also a nice fruit platter in the room when we checked in and replenished each day. Very good service overall and we would definitely return during our next stay in Victoria.

Good
My husband and I stayed at the Royal Scot due to it's location near the harbor and because we obtained a very good rate. Hotel is dated but immaculate. Our room wasn't ready, even at 4:00, but they did give us a different one.The room was large and...
