The Ritz Carlton San Francisco Hotel

Service is friendly and good. 2nd floor, odd numbers are just above street level facing street and extremely noisy! It was difficult falling asleep because of the traffic (motorcycles roaring past, sirens, cars zooming) and if we did fall asleep, inevitably, a motorcycle or souped-up car would zoom by and wake us up. You will also be awakened in the morning by the school across the street and it's crossing guards whistling. We have stayed at "lesser" hotels at the airport that are quieter. Clean, a lot of steep uphill walking required. Only one convenience store close by. Would not recommend. This may be the case of a name brand that does not live up to its reputation. Overall, good, but not great.
