The Ritz Carlton, Denver Hotel

I travel a great deal (more than I would like). Recently stayed at the new Ritz Carlton in Denver and found it to be up there with the best of the best. The staff was friendly and really seemed to care. My king bedded room was spacious and well laid out. The litlle touches that sets a great hotel apart from the others were present. The individual reading lights over the bed, the oversized shower, the overlapping blackout drapes, the choice of pillow types, the motion detected night light that in the foyer, a coffee machine in the room that really made good coffee and a bed that was wonderful.

The Elways' restaurant in the hotel is beautifully designed and the steaks dinner I had there was outstanding. the shrimp cocktail I started with arrived with the largest shrimp I've ever had followed by a strip sirloin that was cooked exactly to my preference. The servers were knowledgeable and professional in every way.

This hotel sets a new high standard for Denver and is well deserving of a five star rating!

This place sucks-everyone here is to busy ignoring you with their noses in the air to assist anyone!! The prices are out-landish and the place has a funny smell that will make you sick after about ten minutes. The house keepers are thiefs and the rooms are not as nice as any of the FOUR-SEASON HOTELS that i have been to. Don't waste your time at this hyped-up DUMP!!!!
