Beautiful furnishings and simple, clean lines speak to the Ritz's reputation for high-end accommodations. Newly renovated and updated, the hotel has raised the bar for in-room amenities and restyled its lounges and function spaces. The location in the heart of downtown Boston is great as far as convenience to public transportation, cinemas, Broadway theaters, dining, shopping, and historical landmarks are concerned, but the area can be somewhat sketchy. Friendly and helpful desk staff will happily make reservations at area restaurants, give directions, or make recommendations. Wifi is available throughout the hotel on a graduated rate scale ranging from 3 hours at $5.95 to one week at $59.95.
