Dumpy, skeleton crew working, no AC in lobby area, weird adjacent lounge, no working elevator. I was there 8-14 through 8-17. I guess it closed that following Monday. I felt bad for the gathering there 8-16. The post dated 8-19 summed it up.
They lost my reservation made through hotels.com (I was speaking to Shawna at the hotel). I spent 30 minutes back and forthe with hotels.com and Shawna trying to sort this out. I arrived at the hotel at 3pm, 1 hour ahead of check in. Unfortunately ...

I had my 20th High School Reunion at the Ridpath this weekend and it was a disaster. in a room fit for 100 people, we had 200. The air conditioning was broken, the bathrooms were not kept up and were overflowing. And the "Manager" was off ...

Location only.Room was filthy, elevator was not functioning, all staff but one lacking in any semblance of caring. Room substandard from cleanliness to pealing paint and leaking plumbing. Definitely the worst experience I have ever had.
